Dr. Roxana Hawkins
1984-Opened her practice in Independence Missouri.
1985-Returned to graduate school to complete two courses and earned a second Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling.
1988-After passing the licensure exam and presenting documentation of supervision and courses completed, Roxana was issued a Missouri State License as a Professional Counselor.
Roxana continued coursework toward a doctorate in clinical psychology and was accepted at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, MO where in October of 1998, Roxana received the degree of Doctor of Psychology.
Dr. Hawkins then completed her Post-Doctoral Residency in Jefferson City and Osage beach, MO and after two years joined a practice of Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors, and Psychiatrists in Osage Beach, MO where she practiced another five and a half years before returning to Independence, MO.
May 8, 2006- Dr. Hawkins opened the Independence Counseling Center.
